STAC: David V. Glidden, PhD
David V. Glidden, Ph.D. is Professor of Biostatistics at the University of California at
San Francisco. and has served as a faculty member there since 1997. Dr. Glidden received his Ph.D. in
Biostatistics from the University of Washington in 1993. He has collaborated with investigators in diverse
areas including neurology, prion diseases, pediatrics, ophthalmology and HIV disease. His research interests
including biostatistics, survival analysis – particularly settings where individuals are susceptible to multiple
events. He is co-author of over 75 papers and the text Regression Methods in Biostatistics (Springer 2005).
